The launch of the “Double Thousand Plan” has greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of major construction in colleges and universities. In order to meet the requirements of the first-class undergraduate major in tourism management, there is a need for an active reform and innovation in its teaching, an improvement in the quality of running this undergraduate major, and an accelerated growth of this undergraduate major. The tourism reception industry is a basic course of the tourism management specialty, and its teaching effect has a vital influence on the construction of this specialty. Taking the hospitality and tourism industry as an example, this paper analyzes the existing problems in curriculum construction, redefines the ideas and objectives of curriculum teaching reform, and expounds the contents and measures of curriculum teaching reform.
