University faculty members bear the mission of “cultivating virtue and nurturing talent,” with their professional ethics serving as a critical determinant of educational quality. While current ethical standards show positive trends, the challenges posed by digital transformation and intelligent development have heightened the urgency to enhance teachers’ professional integrity. To address these challenges, comprehensive strategies should be implemented through fostering a virtuous ethical ecosystem, strengthening oversight mechanisms, and optimizing evaluation systems. By integrating institutional safeguards, educational guidance, and personal commitment, this approach will help faculty solidify ethical foundations and better fulfill their mission in modern education.
