Abstract
In the recent development, the phenomenon of blending different cultures and the collision of various new ideas and objects have emerged in the present society. This has promoted the emergence of new types of buildings to a numerous extent. The pet-themed café is one of the new models of architecture in the recent years. It is not only an important avenue for the people’s entertainment, but also as a venue that fully embodies humanistic ideas and cultural exchanges in the new era. Among them, the pet-themed cat café has shown its absolute advantage in China today and in the international culinary market. In this paper, the author takes the “Tmall Salon” cat café, who was responsible for its design, as a case to analyze the design of the pet-themed café. The author hopes to provide some help and suggestions for the design and development of pet-themed cafés.
