This article explores the construction and optimization of incentive mechanisms in higher education management. It analyzes the current status of incentive mechanisms for teachers and students, pointing out existing problems. The incentive mechanism is constructed from multiple dimensions such as salary and career development, and optimized through the establishment of a scientific assessment and evaluation system, strengthening information construction, and creating a good cultural atmosphere. The aim is to improve the quality of higher education and cultivate outstanding talents.
