This article explores the psychological state of brass instrument performers from the perspective of emotion regulation, focusing on the positive impacts of emotional regulation strategies such as cognitive reappraisal, breathing control, and mindfulness training on performers’ psychological well-being. Specific applications of these strategies are proposed for performance preparation, stage performances, and daily practice. Research results indicate that the effective use of emotion regulation strategies can alleviate performers’ anxiety, enhance psychological stability, and improve performance quality, providing practical psychological intervention pathways for brass instrument players.
