Abstract

Literary translation plays a vital role in the dissemination of drama, film, and television works. Only by fully recognizing this point, can society better cope with the challenges in the translation process, give full play to the potential of literary translation, and promote the global dissemination of drama, film, and television works. This paper points out that literary translation can not only promote cross-cultural communication but also directly affect the connotation, style, market acceptance, and other levels of drama, film, and television works. On the contrary, improper translation may lead to cultural misunderstanding, and even affect the overall quality and market performance of the works.
