Abstract

With the continuous development and popularization of modern technology, new media have now penetrated into all areas of social life, greatly changing people’s lifestyles, information acquisition channels, and reading habits. The development of new media has also brought tremendous impacts to the traditional book publishing industry, while putting forward higher new requirements for book publishing editing work. Therefore, this paper analyzes the influences of the new media era on book publishing editing work, and on this basis, proposes innovative paths and practical strategies for book publishing editing work in the context of the new media era. It aims to promote the better adaptation of book publishing editing work to the development needs of the times, enhance its core competitiveness, and thereby help the sustainable development of the publishing industry.
