With the development of information technology and the proposal of the new liberal arts, traditional liberal arts education is facing new challenges and opportunities. The new liberal education emphasizes interdisciplinary integration and the cultivation of critical thinking. In this context, it is urgently essential to explore the “four integration” teaching path in college English, which is an important part of higher education. That is, the integration of local culture and English, digital technology and English, outcome-based education and English, and cultural education and English to comprehensively improve teaching quality and cultivate high-quality English talents with global vision and cross-cultural communication ability.
