Abstract
With the acceleration of urbanization in China, the countryside, as an important carrier of traditional culture and natural ecology, has been paid more attention to its landscape shaping. In this process, art design can inject new vitality into the transformation and upgrading of the rural landscape. It can not only pay attention to the natural scenery and human history of the countryside but also integrate the rural scenery with modern aesthetics with its unique perspective and techniques, to help the countryside create a rural landscape with regional characteristics and meet the needs of the era. This paper starts with the application principles of art design in the shaping of rural landscape environment and deeply analyzes the role of art design in the shaping of rural landscape environment and its application strategies, which is only for reference of relevant people.
