Abstract

This study conducted a comparative quasi-experiment, mainly using qualitative research methods to conduct text analysis on students’ feedback in college English ideological and political education, supplemented by a questionnaire and interviews, to evaluate its implementation effect from the perspective of students. Research shows that the integration of ideological and political education has a good educational effect on knowledge transmission, skill development, and value shaping. Blending ideological and political awareness into college English courses can resonate with students’ emotions and play a certain role in shaping their values. This study can provide reference for the implementation effect of curriculum-based ideological and political education in tertiary curriculum.
