Abstract

Based on the authors’ hands‑on experience supervising three Undergraduate Innovation Training Program projects at Xinjiang Medical University, this paper explores effective approaches to improving the quality of undergraduate supervision. It identifies major problems in current innovation training programs, shares practical insights drawn from three real cases, and proposes reform strategies in five dimensions: strengthening practicality, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering an innovation‑friendly atmosphere, optimizing the supervisor system, and improving evaluation criteria. The study aims to provide a reference for innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities and colleges.
