This paper focuses on the intelligent gate system in airport self-service security inspection, outlining the evolution of airport security technology from traditional manual methods to intelligent solutions. It analyzes the current research status and development trajectory of intelligent gate systems, discusses key design elements in both technical and non-technical aspects, and addresses challenges such as balancing security speed and accuracy, technical compatibility, data security, and privacy protection, while proposing corresponding solutions.
