With the continuous enrollment expansion of universities and the increase in the number of international students, student apartments are becoming increasingly in short supply, inevitably leading to renovation and expansion projects of apartments. New requirements have emerged for fire protection design in the renovation of student apartments. This case mainly involves new approaches and methods of fire protection design in the renovation of old buildings. An indoor fire hydrant system is newly added to the water supply part of the apartment building, and the main measures include drawing water from a nearby source and establishing a fire protection linkage control system.
