Associate Prof./Dr. Janmejoy Gupta, is an Architect-Urban Planner with 14 years of industrial and teaching experience. Completed doctorate in Architecture in May,2017. Presently, he is an Associate-Professor in Dept. of Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture, (SPA), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Research areas are passive design strategies for thermal comfort in dwellings, climate-responsive architecture & Sustainability in Urban Planning. Dr Janmejoy Gupta has numerous high impact-publications including three Scopus-indexed and two Web of science-indexed. He is a reviewer for Environmental Progress, a Wiley Journal (Scopus & Web of Science Indexed) and an Editorial Board Member in International Journal of Architecture, Arts. Dr Gupta is an Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional and has worked on several green building documentations during his industrial experience.
