International Journal of General Practice Nursing (IJGPN) is an international, peer reviewed and open access journal that seeks to promote the development of nursing career. Articles which reflect the dynamics of nursing science and technology, summarize the progress of nursing scientific research, report new nursing knowledge and new technologies, display nursing scientific research achievements and advanced experience are encouraged to be submitted as original article, review, case report, short communication and letters. Special Issue on Perioperative Anesthesia Nursing for Elderly Patients: Call for Papers
With the deepening of the global aging process, the proportion of elderly patients in the medical system is increasing day by day. These patients often suffer from multiple geriatric diseases, such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions, coupled with a decline in physiological functions. This makes them face higher risks and challenges during the perioperative period. Under such circumstances, precise, professional, and comprehensive anesthesia nursing is of great importance for ensuring the safety of elderly patients during the perioperative period, reducing postoperative complications, and promoting postoperative recovery. It has become a key area that urgently needs in-depth research and practice. Therefore, the International Journal of General Practice Nursing is pleased to announce a special issue focused on perioperative anesthesia nursing for elderly patients. This special issue aims to provide a platform for professionals in related fields to showcase cutting-edge findings, share practical experiences, and discuss hot topics.

Submission Requirements
- All submissions must be original, unpublished work. The research methods should be scientifically rigorous, the data authentic and reliable. The conclusions should offer new insights and have practical or academic value for the field of anesthesia nursing in elderly patients during the perioperative period.
- The content must closely align with the theme of the special issue and adhere to the submission guidelines of the International Journal of General Practice Nursing. Ensure the structure is complete, the logic clear, and the language accurate and smooth. Avoid unnecessary jargon and ambiguities to enhance readability and facilitate academic exchange.
- Submissions using innovative research methods, interdisciplinary perspectives, or cutting-edge technologies like big data analysis will be given priority for publication, all else being equal.
