Abstract
Monteggia fracture-dislocation is a rare and complex injury that typically involves an ulnar fracture combined with a dislocation of the proximal radioulnar and radiocapitellar joints. Ulnar osteotomy is an effective treatment method. This article reports a case of chronic Monteggia fracture in an 11-year-old male patient successfully treated with a simple proximal ulnar osteotomy.
