After treatment, the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the menstrual volume was lower, and the menstrual duration was shorter (P < 0.05). The scores for menstrual flow obstruction, menstrual volume reduction, abdominal distension and pain, and menstrual blood clots with purple and dark color were lower in the observation group compared to the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the adverse reaction rate between the observation group and the control group (P > 0.05).
