AIGC technology not only optimizes publishing workflows and enhances efficiency but also holds the potential to reshape the production, dissemination, and operational models of scientific journals. This paper first systematically analyzes the pain points inherent in traditional journal models, including lengthy peer-review cycles, difficulties in filtering knowledge overload, limited dissemination reach, and singular service models. Building on this analysis, the paper constructs a “Three-Wheel Drive” model for AIGC-empowered scientific journals, elaborating on how AIGC drives model innovation across three core areas: content production and peer review, knowledge aggregation and dissemination, and platform reconstruction and services. Furthermore, the paper proposes specific practical pathways: at the content level, utilizing AIGC to assist with topic selection, literature review, language polishing, and preliminary manuscript screening; at the knowledge level, building intelligent summarization, cross-modal interpretation, and personalized recommendation systems based on AIGC; at the platform level, exploring new service models such as “intelligent Q&A knowledge bases” and “open science collaborative integration.” Finally, the paper dialectically discusses the challenges encountered in this process, including academic ethics, intellectual property, and technological dependency, and proposes corresponding governance strategies. This research aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the transformation and upgrading of scientific journals in the intelligent era.
Yanyan Huang, Mingzhi Pan, Mingpei Liang, Linkui Wang, Dandan Xie, Jianxiang Yang Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14354 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 11:27:53 +0800 Research on Mechanism Innovation of Cross-border Elderly Care for Hong Kong and Macao Seniors https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14355
The accelerated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has created a new spatial carrier and institutional foundation for Hong Kong and Macao seniors to receive cross-border elderly care in the Chinese mainland. Driven by structural pressures such as rapid aging, high housing prices, and strained long-term care resources in Hong Kong and Macao, and supported by institutional innovations such as the Guangdong Residential Care Service Scheme and the Guangdong Scheme, the scale of cross-border elderly care for Hong Kong and Macao seniors has expanded steadily. However, practical development is still faced with multiple challenges, including inadequate welfare connectivity, bottlenecks in cross-border medical security, large differences in service standards, and insufficient cultural adaptation and social support. Based on the theories of population migration and elderly welfare economics, this paper systematically analyzes the four-dimensional influencing factors of cross-border elderly care decisions for Hong Kong and Macao seniors, namely economic and cost factors, living environment and service supply, institutional and welfare portability, and family and social support networks. It also sorts out the innovative exploration of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in welfare portability, cross-regional collaborative governance, medical-care integration, and smart elderly care, and puts forward targeted policy suggestions for optimizing the cross-border elderly care ecosystem. The research aims to provide a theoretical reference for improving the long-term stability and equity of cross-border elderly care in the Greater Bay Area and promoting the high-quality development of the regional elderly care service system.
Jie Huang, Qian Liu, Ting Li, Yuxi Liu Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14355 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 11:33:11 +0800 An Exploration of the Artistic Choices in the Narrative of Chinese Public Service Advertising Images https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14356
As an important carrier for conveying positive social energy, guiding public value orientation, and promoting mainstream culture, the creation and broadcast of public service advertisements have continued to flourish. It is urgent to clarify the spatial pattern and risk level of rodent damage to support scientific prevention and control. This study took young artificial Chinese fir forests as the research area to explore the spatial distribution pattern of rodent damage and evaluate the rodent risk levels. Damaged trees were manually identified based on UAV orthophotos, spatial pattern analysis was conducted using ArcGIS, and a multi-index comprehensive evaluation method was adopted to analyze the risk of rodents. The results showed that: (1) The rodent-damaged Chinese fir plants in the research area presented a significant aggregated spatial distribution pattern (R=0.553); (2) Risk assessment classified Mus musculus (house mouse), Rattus norvegicus (brown rat), and Microtus fortis (reed vole) as medium-risk species, and Rattus losea (rice field rat), Rattus tanezumi (roof rat), Callosciurus erythraeus (Pallas’s squirrel), and Rhizomys sinensis (Chinese bamboo rat) as low-risk species. The results demonstrate that PEOU significantly enhances PU, and both variables positively influence students’ ATT toward AI-assisted IPT. PU and ATT further contribute to students’ ACC of AI-assisted teaching. TR, SI, and FC also positively affect ATT, while PER has a negative effect. Among these factors, TR and FC demonstrate particularly strong impacts. Based on these findings, this study suggests that universities should improve the usability and pedagogical alignment of AI tools, strengthen students’ trust in AI-generated content, address ethical concerns, and offer adequate institutional support and training. While existing scholarship has analyzed the novel from postcolonial and ecofeminist perspectives, a systematic study focusing on the contradictory Otherness of its white female characters, as both complicit colonial agents and victims of patriarchy, and their narrative path to healing remains underdeveloped. This paper tries to discuss from this perspective. Employing the frameworks of the postcolonial The Other and feminist trauma theory through close reading, this study analyzes the narratives of the five women from the Price’s. It first examines how their trauma stems from a dual alienation, failed cultural intermediaries in the colonial context, and silenced subordinates within the patriarchal family, and becomes embodied through illness, physical strain, and death. The core argument posits that healing is achieved through narrative resistance. The women’s distinct voices constitute a polyphonic practice of recovery. By seizing their own discursive authority, they dismantle the monolithic, rigid narrative represented by Father Nathan, which conflates Christian dogma, patriarchal rule, and colonial conquest and reconstruct fluid, relational selves through non-exploitative connections with the land and people of the Congo. Thus, The Poisonwood Bible is not merely a critique of oppression but an ecofeminist parable demonstrating that narration itself is therapeutic. True redemption lies not in condescending salvation but in humble listening, adaptation, and interdependence, offering useful materials and examples into the complexities of identity in a postcolonial world.
Lihui Li Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14375 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 14:37:09 +0800 Sewing Machine, Smartphone, and the “I”: A Study of Media Use Among Garment Workers in the Context of Alienation https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14459
Based on fieldwork in Guangzhou’s “Zhongda Textile Circle”, this study explores how garment workers navigate alienation through mediatized practices. Employing participant observation and in-depth interviews, it identifies a triple-alienation dilemma—survival, social, and ideological—driven by the dual control of assembly-line logic and digital platforms. The findings demonstrate that workers are not passive victims of structural oppression; instead, they exert agency through digital media to reclaim private time, reconstruct social networks (both kinship and weak ties), and foster reflexive self-development. This paper explores the paradoxical position of women within this system, analyzing the stark contrast between their indispensable social roles and their severe legal disenfranchisement. Utilizing historical and socio-legal analysis, the study examines women’s subjugation within the domestic sphere (oikos), their stratified economic contributions, and their limited yet symbolic participation in civic religious life. The findings reveal that Athenian women were systematically restricted through the institution of lifelong male guardianship (kyrieia), asymmetrical marriage and divorce regulations, and discriminatory inheritance mechanisms such as the epikleros system. Furthermore, a comparative assessment with Spartan society—where women enjoyed greater economic and physical autonomy—underscores the unique rigidity of Athenian patriarchal control. Ultimately, the paper argues that the celebrated “equality” of Athenian democracy was structurally contingent upon the systemic exclusion of women from all civic and judicial spaces. This research contributes to a critical reassessment of classical political institutions and provides vital historical context for understanding the foundational logic of gender inequality in Western socio-legal traditions.
Fangrui Luo, Enshi Hao Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14377 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 14:44:12 +0800 Polarization and Rectification: Misbehavior of Giant Panda Fans—Manifestations, Causes, and Governance https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14383
Fandom culture, as a form of subculture, has garnered widespread attention across various sectors in recent years. The giant panda, a cherished species in China, has seen many individuals rise to online fame recently, propelled by live streaming and short videos, attracting a large number of fans. However, traditional single prediction models often exhibit limited performance when modeling complex load data characterized by strong nonlinearity and non-stationarity. To address this issue, this paper proposes a hybrid neural network model that combines a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network for short-term power load forecasting. First, considering the temporal dependency and nonlinear characteristics of power load time-series data, both LSTM and CNN–LSTM forecasting models are constructed. Then, the hybrid model is systematically optimized by adjusting the number of convolutional layers, the structure of LSTM hidden layers, and different activation function configurations. Finally, the forecasting performance of the proposed model is evaluated and compared with that of the single LSTM model using root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). The experimental results indicate that the CNN–LSTM model achieves higher forecasting accuracy and better generalization performance, and its predicted load curves show greater consistency with actual load variations. Kunming has successively completed several CCI-oriented industrial heritage regeneration projects, such as Chunyu 937 and C86 Camellia Plaza, yet a systematic subjective performance evaluation tool is still lacking. This study, for the first time, applies the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) model to post-evaluation of CCI-led industrial heritage regeneration in Southwest China. An index system consisting of 6 dimensions and 17 indicators (traffic, heritage authenticity, cultural experience, retail mix, supporting facilities, and estate environment) was constructed. Data were collected through questionnaire surveys, GPS-POI tracking, and policy document analysis. Empirical comparisons between Chunyu 937 and C86 Camellia Plazawere conducted to examine whether the original design objectives have been achieved and to develop a replicable subjective-objective coupled health-check template. The results show that: (1) The IPA four-quadrant effectively identified common “high importance-low satisfaction” weaknesses—public transport last-mile connection, thematic consistency of retail, and density of public toilets/third-space restrooms; (2) Both cases basically fulfilled three image objectives—“heritage preserved, IP created, crowd attracted”, but three functional indicators—traffic, retail, and public service—remained significantly below expectation and fell into the IPA “concentrate improvement” zone; (3) Fiscal subsidies should be linked to IPA weakness improvement through an “annual review-dynamic adjustment” mechanism to shift showcase regeneration towards institutional regeneration. The study contributes to: (1) methodology by pioneering IPA application in post-evaluation of CCI-led industrial heritage regeneration in Southwest China; (2) data validation by cross-verifying subjective questionnaires with objective trajectory data; (3) policy innovation by embedding the “IPA health-check table” into update acceptance and subsidy-fuse mechanisms. The findings provide quantitative evidence for governments to allocate regeneration resources precisely and for operators to pursue continuous improvement, offering a demonstration for similar industrial heritage regeneration projects nationwide.
Shujing Li Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14454 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 16:20:43 +0800 Research on the Model Construction and Application of AI-Empowered Rural Ecological Pig Farming: A Practical Exploration Based on the “Pig–Biogas–Fertilizer–Planting” Circular System https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14455
Against the backdrop of rural revitalization and agricultural modernization, traditional pig farming models are confronted with multiple challenges, including low efficiency, severe environmental pollution, and food safety risks. This study takes the “Zhu” Guang Yiyi—an AI-empowered rural ecological pig farming project—as the research object, and focuses on the deep integration of artificial intelligence with ecological breeding. It proposes a trinity development model integrating intelligent farming, ecological recycling, and data-driven management. By introducing Internet of Things (IoT) sensing devices, machine learning algorithms, and big data analytics, the study realizes intelligent management throughout the entire pig breeding process, including precision feeding, environmental regulation, and disease early warning. Meanwhile, a resource recycling system of “pig–biogas–fertilizer–planting” is established to enable the energy conversion and fertilizer utilization of livestock waste, thereby promoting green transformation in agriculture. On this basis, a data platform is employed to achieve coordinated optimization of production, management, and marketing, and to extend the ecological farming industry chain toward processing, e-commerce, and agri-tourism integration. The results indicate that AI technologies can significantly improve farming efficiency and resource utilization, while reducing disease risks and environmental burdens, providing a replicable and scalable technological pathway and practical paradigm for rural industrial revitalization.
Yiyuan Ma, Yingying Zhao, Ying Chen, Qiufan Xie Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14455 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 16:25:55 +0800 Discussion on the Validation of a Fully-Automated Nucleic Acid Processing System https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14480
Objective: The newly purchased automated nucleic acid assembly line must be verified to ensure compliance with ISO 15189 standards for medical laboratories before use. Methods: Multiple departments collaborate to complete installation qualification; operational qualification is conducted for five functional modules; performance verification is carried out using system performance verification panels, analytical sensitivity verification panels, reference materials, and specimens from voluntary blood donors. Results: Hardware and software installations meet the usage requirements of the detection system. The ATM-style self-service sample handover module, post-handover automatic sample refrigeration module, sample processing module, nucleic acid mixing and extraction module, and post-processing automatic sample refrigeration module are all operating normally. The concordance rates for HBV DNA, HCV RNA, and HIV-1 RNA were 100%. The detection rates for both pooled and individual testing modes were 100%, meeting the standard requirement of ≥ 95%. Neither a triglyceride concentration of 33 g/L nor a hemoglobin concentration of 5 g/L affected the detection of weakly positive samples at 3 times the limit of detection (LOD). In 20 repeated tests, the within-run coefficients of variation (CV) for HBV DNA, HCV RNA, and HIV RNA were 2.88%, 2.78%, and 2.49%, respectively, while the between-run CVs were 3.45%, 3.20%, and 2.42%. All results met the requirements of within-run CV < 10% and between-run CV < 15%.The results for negative controls were all non-reactive in 15 tests, while the detection results for HBV, HCV, and HIV at 3 times the limit of detection were all reactive, with coefficients of variation (CV) of 1.58%, 1.50%, and 1.08%, respectively, meeting the requirements for repeatability verification. Cross-contamination resistance was validated using a system performance panel. With positive samples evenly interspersed among negative samples, the detection of positive samples did not affect the results of the negative samples. A total of 34 specimens from voluntary blood donors were tested across 12 batches, and the results were fully consistent, meeting the requirements for parallel testing verification. Conclusion: The fully-automated nucleic acid processing system, after installation qualification, operational qualification, and performance qualification, complies with the requirements of ISO 15189 and meets the standards for nucleic acid testing in blood screening laboratories.
Yang Cheng, Dandan Xu, Yu Cao, Yuanyuan Shi Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14480 Wed, 15 Apr 2026 16:30:33 +0800 Research and Application of Emotional Design in University Cultural and Creative Products https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14482
Cultural and creative products of universities are an external reflection of the university’s image.
