As a typical type of conflict discourse, family conflict discourse not only has the general characteristics of conflict discourse but also presents unique interaction rules due to the particularity of kinship relations. Young Sheldon provides a high-quality corpus for the analysis of family conflict discourse with its diverse character identities and authentic daily interaction scenarios, making the relevant discourse analysis highly representative and referential. Existing studies mostly focus on the static description of strategies in family conflict discourse, yet they fail to further explore how family members dynamically adapt to each other’s psychological and social worlds through discourse choices during conflict interactions, nor do they fully reveal the actual process of relational negotiation behind such discursive practices. Based on the psychological world and social world of contextual factors in Verschueren’s Adaptation Theory, this paper conducts a micro-level dynamic analysis of family conflict discourse in Young Sheldon in four stages: triggering, escalation, intervention/transformation, and outcome. It attempts to break through the limitations of static analysis in previous studies, and also provides specific theoretical references and practical insights for understanding discursive interaction in daily family communication.
Wen Li, Xiaoxiao Lv Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14800 Mon, 25 May 2026 10:48:05 +0800 Research on the Constraints and Countermeasures for Low-Carbon Development of Port Logistics in Hebei under the Dual Carbon Goals https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14900
The proposal of the “dual carbon” goals has posed stringent emission reduction requirements for China’s port logistics industry. As an important energy export hub in the Bohai Rim region, Hebei Province faces significant challenges in reducing carbon emissions from its port logistics sector due to its large total emissions and complex structure, coupled with multiple constraints in its low-carbon transition. This paper first reviews the current status of energy consumption and carbon emissions in Hebei’s port logistics sector. It then identifies five major constraints to low-carbon development: reliance on fossil fuels in the energy structure, uneven coverage of shore power facilities, insufficient depth in the application of green technologies, the need for further improvement in the policy support system, and the necessity to enhance public awareness of low-carbon practices. Based on these findings, the paper proposes collaborative advancement paths from four dimensions—technology, industry, policy, and society—including optimizing carbon reduction technologies, accelerating the energy structure transition, increasing the utilization rate of shore power, improving green finance and carbon trading mechanisms, and strengthening public participation, to construct a support system for low-carbon development in port logistics. The research conclusions can provide references for formulating low-carbon policies for port logistics in Hebei Province and similar regions.
Jing Gu, Fan Yin, Xuefei Liu, Yadong Li, Yijian Liu Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14900 Mon, 25 May 2026 10:52:44 +0800 The Impact of Perceived Similarity in Travel Vlogs on Forwarding Intention: A Parallel Mediation Model https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14801
This study develops and tests a structural equation model based on the similarity-attraction theory, with perceived similarity as the independent variable, parasocial interaction and social presence as parallel mediating variables, and forwarding intention as the dependent variable, to examine the psychological mechanism underlying the forwarding behavior of travel vlog viewers. A total of 502 valid questionnaires were collected via an online survey platform, and confirmatory factor analysis and Bootstrap-based mediation analysis were used to verify the hypotheses. The results demonstrate that perceived similarity not only directly and positively influences forwarding intention but also exerts a partial mediating effect through two pathways: parasocial interaction and social presence, with the indirect effect accounting for 62.9% of the total effect. The model demonstrates a good fit, and all hypotheses are supported. They frequently expose their personal information in scenarios such as online games, social media, and online education. Once personal information is improperly collected, utilized, or abused, it will cause irreversible damage to the current and future personality development, social evaluation, and property interests of minors. The Personal Information Protection Law takes “informed consent” as the core legal basis. In the context of minors, the existence and scope of “consent ability” directly affect the legal structure and responsibility allocation of personal information processing. Article 31 of China’s “Personal Information Protection Law” stipulates that when processing personal information of minors under the age of 14, the consent of their guardians must be obtained, and such information should be classified as sensitive personal information. This strengthens the special protection of this group in the system. However, from the normative structure, on the one hand, the legislation adopts “14 years old” as the formal dividing line, which is different from the capacity system of civil law; on the other hand, there is a lack of clear regulations on under what conditions minors themselves have independent consent ability, and theoretical discussions mostly focus on the guardian consent rule, while giving little attention to the consent ability of minors themselves. In this context, from the cross-disciplinary perspective of civil law and personal information protection law, this paper systematically explores the criteria for determining the consent ability in the processing of minors’ personal information and its functions. This not only helps clarify the system relationship between consent ability, capacity, and intention ability, but also helps to build a more refined framework for protecting minors’ personal information at the legislative and judicial levels. This paper intends to take the consent ability as the core analytical object, in the comparative law perspective, to sort out its dual functions and determination model, and then, in combination with the current law of our country, propose an institutional construction plan with “14 years old + intention ability” as the axis, supplemented by the allocation of burden of proof and dynamic determination mechanism.
Wanying Guo Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14812 Mon, 25 May 2026 11:38:31 +0800 Research on the “Super-Real” Trend and Subjective Dilemma of AI-generated Images from the Perspective of the Landscape Society https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14813
The widespread application of generative artificial intelligence technology has transformed AI-generated images from auxiliary creative tools to the core carrier of landscape production. Their “hyper-realism” has shifted to reshaping the contemporary visual cultural ecosystem. By using Guy Debord’s theory of landscape society as an analytical framework, it can be observed that AI-generated images, through data-driven collaboration, symbolic construction, and large-scale dissemination, make the representational features of landscapes extremely obvious, resulting in a phenomenon where the simulated system of the real prototype is separated. This shift not only completes the paradigm shift from “reproducing reality” to “constructing reality” but also leads to multiple predicaments, such as the decentralization of the creative subject, the alienation of the cognitive subject’s senses, and the distortion of the cultural subject’s memory. The research aims to study the internal logic and manifestation form of the “hyper-realism” shift of AI-generated images, reveal the mechanism of their dissolution of individual subjectivity, and explore the possible paths for the reconstruction of subjectivity in the technological context. This is to provide theoretical references for understanding the alienation and breakthrough of visual culture in the digital age based on the landscape society theory.
Yang Li Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14813 Mon, 25 May 2026 11:40:42 +0800 Hyperspectral Imaging Combined with a Deep Residual Network for a Precision Nutrition Prediction Model in Commercial Laying Hens https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14814
The aim of this study was to develop a precision nutrition prediction model for commercial laying hens based on hyperspectral imaging technology and a deep residual network. Eggs from a large‑scale laying hen farm (20,000 birds) were used as research subjects. Hyperspectral image data in the 400–1000 nm range were collected, and the contents of crude protein, crude fat, lecithin, and cholesterol were determined by conventional chemical analysis. An improved deep residual network (ResNet‑SP) was proposed for spectral feature extraction and nutritional index prediction, and its performance was compared with partial least squares regression (PLSR), support vector machine (SVM), and the conventional residual network (ResNet50). The results showed that the ResNet‑SP model achieved the best prediction performance for the four nutritional indices. For crude protein content, the coefficient of determination for the prediction set (R²p) was 0.931, the root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) was 0.87 g/100 g, and the residual predictive deviation (RPD) was 3.82. This study verifies the feasibility of combining hyperspectral imaging with deep residual networks for non‑destructive detection of nutritional quality in eggs, providing technical support for precision nutrition management in large‑scale farms.
Zhifeng Xiang, Taoying Zhou Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14814 Mon, 25 May 2026 11:42:21 +0800 A Study About Chinese Women’s Development Foundation (CWDF) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14815
The Chinese Women’s Development Foundation (CWDF) is a leading social organization in the field of Chinese women’s public welfare. When one opens their phone in the morning to read the news, the platform is pushing content that interests them; When ordering takeout, the app will prioritize the stores they often eat at; After placing an order online, the system can accurately predict the delivery time; Even when taking a taxi, the software can instantly calculate the best route, and so on. These seemingly simple and convenient experiences are all backed by big data analysis. In the past, people processed information through manual statistics and sampling surveys, which had small samples, low efficiency, and were prone to errors. The Internet, smartphones, and Internet of Things devices generate massive amounts of data every day, which contain users’ habits, market trends, and industry patterns. Whoever can read this data will be able to seize opportunities, reduce risks, and improve efficiency. To understand big data, the key is to grasp its core features. Many people, upon hearing the term “big data”, find it unfathomable and full of technical jargon that they can neither understand nor apply. In fact, big data is not that complicated. Its core logic is hidden in the three most critical characteristics, namely holomorphism, confounding, and correlation. These three characteristics are not only the fundamental difference between big data and traditional statistics, but also the core reason why big data can be valuable. This article will explain the three core characteristics of big data in the most common and down-to-earth language, and at the same time talk about what these characteristics are used for, what problems they can solve, and what changes they have brought to people’s lives and work, so that everyone can truly understand the essence of big data and know why it has changed the way society operates in just over a decade.
Wenying Jing Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14926 Mon, 25 May 2026 13:04:50 +0800 From “Water Storage and Sand Retention” to “Upper Interception and Lower Discharge”: The Historical Evolution of Yellow River Management Strategy During the Period of National Economic Readjustment https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14834
The period of national economic readjustment from 1961 to 1965 was a critical stage in the transformation of the Yellow River management strategy. In the late 1950s, the “water storage and sand retention” strategy gradually revealed problems in practice, including accelerated reservoir siltation and increasing flood control pressure in the lower reaches. Against this backdrop, the water conservancy sector, in alignment with the central government’s policy of “readjustment, consolidation, filling out, and raising standards”, and based on the laws governing water and sediment movement in the Yellow River and the realities of basin management, promoted a shift in Yellow River management strategy from “water storage and sand retention” to “upper interception and lower discharge.” The “upper interception” component involved constructing control reservoirs in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River and advancing soil and water conservation projects to strengthen source-level regulation of floods and sediment. The “lower discharge” component focused on the lower river channel, enhancing the river’s flood discharge and sediment transport capacity through dredging the channel, reinforcing embankments, and consolidating dangerous works. The evolution of this strategy not only effectively alleviated the prominent contradictions in Yellow River management at the time and provided support for basin security and agricultural production recovery during the economic readjustment period, but also accumulated practical experience for subsequent systematic planning of Yellow River management, carrying important historical significance and contemporary relevance.
Shulin Guo Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14834 Mon, 25 May 2026 13:07:15 +0800 Multi-Objective Collaborative Optimization of Power Equipment Selection and Maintenance Path Considering Risk Priority and Spatiotemporal Penalties https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14836
Aiming at the maintenance scheduling problem of power equipment such as Ring Main Units (RMUs) in distribution systems, this paper constructs a priority-based maintenance optimization model. Due to their overseas education and professional experience, such talents often differ from domestic faculty in academic interests, research approaches, professional identity, personal pursuits, and values, leading to segmentation and differentiation between groups. Exploring the processes, patterns, and problems of integration for high‑level young returnee talents in universities, and analyzing the phenomena, trends, and pathways of their transition from exclusion to integration, is of great significance for building university faculty and advancing the high‑quality development of higher education. Starting from the concept of “university integration”, this paper identifies the characteristics of high‑level young returnee talents, investigates their integration status through empirical research, and proposes countermeasures to improve integration and enhance cohesion and synergy.
Junru Li, Changling Zhang Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14838 Mon, 25 May 2026 13:36:42 +0800 Expectation Resonance in Affirmative Irony: A Multimodal Analysis of Verbal Humor in Cecilia https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14918
Humberto Solás’s 1982 film Cecilia does something unusual with verbal irony. Characters who occupy subordinate social positions use it not just to criticize or tear down, but to build up solidarity and sketch alternative possibilities. The study calls this affirmative irony. The study examines five key scenes with a multimodal lens, drawing on the evaluative synergy framework and expectation linguistics. From that synthesis emerges a proposal, which is the expectation resonance hypothesis, to explain how ironic evaluation and expectation modulation feed into each other as voice, body, and camera converge. Five ironic types and four recurring multimodal configurations surface in the analysis. Existing research has largely focused on macro-level cultural flows, with insufficient attention paid to the translation practices driven by social media users. This article takes Michael Jackson’s content as a case study for its dissemination on Xiaohongshu. Relying on first-hand data from the author’s operation of a popular fan account, and employing content analysis, participant observation, and data mining methods, it explores the mechanisms and effectiveness pathways of the localized translation of overseas pop culture symbols on domestic social platforms. The study finds that the account’s audience is predominantly young women, challenging traditional stereotypes about audience demographics. The viral videos achieve highly effective dissemination through emotional activation, locally relevant storytelling, and community feedback, forming a progressive logic of “emotional hook—circle-layer penetration—user conversion.” This article constructs a dual-perspective model of translation effectiveness, providing micro-level empirical support for understanding Generation Z’s cultural consumption patterns and optimizing cross-cultural communication strategies.
Jiayao Wu Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14919 Mon, 25 May 2026 13:40:27 +0800 Horizontal Data Middle Ground Design of Traffic Dig Data Asset Management https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14839
How to open up the data center of the task-related industry and build it according to a unified standard to achieve the goal of technology cost reduction, application efficiency improvement, and business empowerment is the problem faced by big data asset management. While the novel is frequently interpreted as a warning against scientific overreach, this study shifts the focus to the gendered dynamics underlying Victor Frankenstein’s act of creation and its consequences for emotional formation. By excluding the female body from reproduction and appropriating maternal functions through technological means, Victor enacts a form of patriarchal control that disrupts the conditions necessary for nurturing, attachment, and relational identity. The first part of the paper explores the Creature’s emotional awakening in the absence of maternal care. Unlike a human infant, he is deprived of nurturing relationships and thus lacks the emotional framework necessary for self-recognition and stability. His early experiences demonstrate that emotional capacities are not innate but developed through social interaction and care. The denial of maternal presence leads to a fragmented sense of self, positioning the Creature’s vulnerability as a product of structural neglect rather than natural deficiency. The second section analyzes the process of emotional othering, through which the Creature is systematically excluded from human society. Drawing on feminist theories of otherness, the paper argues that the Creature occupies a position analogous to marginalized subjects, whose identities are defined externally and denied legitimacy. His repeated rejection—based primarily on physical appearance—transforms his emotional landscape, turning empathy and longing into anger and despair. This shift underscores the role of social exclusion in producing violence, reframing the Creature’s actions as responses to denied recognition rather than expressions of inherent evil. The final section focuses on the Creature’s demand for a companion as an ethical claim to emotional recognition and relational existence. Victor’s refusal to fulfill this request, particularly his destruction of the female Creature, reflects deep-seated anxieties about female autonomy and reinforces patriarchal control over reproduction and relational structures. Through this analysis, the paper highlights the ethical failure at the heart of the novel: the refusal to acknowledge care, responsibility, and emotional subjectivity. Ultimately, this study argues that Frankenstein offers a powerful feminist critique of a society that denies emotional legitimacy to marginalized beings. The Creature’s tragedy reveals the consequences of a world that suppresses care and relationality, calling for an ethics grounded in empathy, recognition, and responsibility.
Yuntong Ji Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14921 Mon, 25 May 2026 14:59:51 +0800 Embodied Learning: A Qualitative Study on Extracurricular Exercise, Psychological Capital, and Academic Experience of High School Seniors https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14922
This study employs autoethnographic methods, using the researcher and three classmates as research subjects, to explore the impact of extracurricular exercise on psychological well-being and learning experience during the senior year examination preparation period. Existing search and rescue planning often relies on static assumptions and struggles to account for dynamic interactions among building layout, responder coordination, and evolving environmental hazards, leading to suboptimal deployment strategies. To address this gap, the study proposes a hybrid Cellular Automata-Agent-Based Model for Search and Rescue (CA-ABM-SAR), designated as CAS. The model integrates enhanced cellular automata for environmental representation with an agent-based framework incorporating an action-priority strategy and an improved A* pathfinding algorithm. This hybrid approach systematically accounts for multiple critical factors, including building structure, occupant distribution, responder characteristics, information uncertainty, and time-varying hazards. The study validated the CAS model across diverse scenarios, from single-story offices to complex multi-story hospitals and warehouses. Monte Carlo simulations demonstrate that optimal responder deployment reduces sweep time significantly. Specifically, the study quantified that a reduction of one responder from the optimal number increases sweep time by 17.9%, while light smoke presence across all rooms increases average time by 32.2%. Furthermore, the model was extended to integrate real-time sensor data for dynamic hazard adaptation. The results provide a robust, quantitative framework for emergency planning committees to optimize resource allocation and sweep strategies.
Xipeng Zhao, Xiyu Chen, Xiaoyong Deng Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14851 Mon, 25 May 2026 15:17:06 +0800 Exploration on the Development Path of Campus Short Dramas: A Case Study of Against the Current https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14852
The number of users of short dramas has exceeded 500 million. Moving beyond the conventional research lens of technological tool application, this paper centers on cross‑modal semantic alignment and cultural transcoding efficiency as core entry points. The paper systematically examines the disruptive restructuring of translation practice, communication logic, and industrial ecology brought by multimodal large models and generative artificial intelligence, probes deeply into their innovative value in addressing the last‑mile challenge of cultural communication, and underscores their enabling role in the high‑quality development of the translation field. This study focuses on two innovative application dimensions of multimodal large models and generative artificial intelligence. First, the mechanism of cross‑modal semantic symbiosis underlying multimodal large models is analyzed, detailing how synchronous translation and emotional alignment of multi‑dimensional information—including text, images, audio, video, and speech—are achieved, thereby mitigating information loss inherent in single‑modal translation. Using short‑video translation and virtual digital human translation and broadcasting as illustrative cases, it validates the immersive communication strengths of multimodal large models in cultural going global initiatives. Second, the dynamic adaptation and ethical governance of generative artificial intelligence are explored, departing from the traditional perception of AI‑assisted translation. The study investigates innovative applications of generative artificial intelligence in personalized translation, real‑time cross‑cultural transcoding, and low‑resource language adaptation, while confronting ethical risks arising from technological alienation in translation. A tripartite governance framework of technological empowerment, humanistic calibration, and normative constraint is proposed accordingly. This paper argues that multimodal large models and generative artificial intelligence are not merely auxiliary tools for enhancing translation efficiency, but value reconstructors that drive the transformation of the translation industry and facilitate cross‑cultural communication. Through precise cross‑modal semantic translation, they enable the intact transmission of cultural connotations; via generative innovation, they adapt to the reception habits of diverse overseas audiences; and through technological empowerment, they push the translation sector to upgrade profoundly from language conversion toward cultural interpretation and value transmission. This research offers a fresh perspective for the construction of translation disciplines, innovation in the language service industry, and translation practice for cultural going global, supporting the high‑quality development of translation and the deep advancement of cross‑cultural exchanges and mutual learning in the digital intelligence era.
Chenyang Liu Copyright (c) 2026 Author(s) https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14857 Mon, 25 May 2026 15:41:30 +0800 The Contemporary Interpretation of the Women’s Liberation Ideology in “The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State” https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/ssr/article/view/14925
Marxism has provided an important ideological weapon for the women’s liberation movement in China.
