Based on DeepSeek artificial intelligence technology driven career assessment as the background, this paper discusses the construction method and significance of career assessment enterprise customer mental model. Starting from the theoretical basis of mental model, this paper analyzes the cognitive, behavioral and emotional components of customer mental model and its role in career assessment service, and expounds the theoretical contribution of DeepSeek and other artificial intelligence technologies to the construction of mental model. Research shows that big data analysis based on artificial intelligence can describe the implicit psychological model of customers, enrich the theoretical tools for career decision support, and help realize the accuracy and individuation of career assessment services [2]. This study provides new ideas for the transformation of career assessment industry, reveals the theoretical significance of integrating customer mental model into career planning service to improve decision support effect, and looks forward to the future development direction of career assessment service driven by artificial intelligence.
Biao Wang Copyright (c) 2026 Social Development Studies https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14142 Wed, 11 Mar 2026 09:21:58 +0800 A Comparative Study on the R&D Models and Industrialization Performance of Biomaterial Enterprises in the Context of Similar Technologies but Different Systems: A Dual Case Study of Cathay Biotech and Genomatica https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14140
Both Cathay Biotech and Genomatica in the United States utilize synthetic biology routes to produce long-chain dicarboxylic acids, sharing similar technological approaches. However, the two companies differ in their accounting treatment of R&D expenditures regarding capitalization and in the assessment mechanisms for government subsidies. These differences have, to a certain extent, led the two enterprises to choose distinct R&D models. From the perspective of innovation performance, Cathay Biotech’s autonomous vertical integration innovation model outperforms Genomatica’s open collaboration innovation model in terms of shortening the trial-and-error cycle and improving product gross profit margins.
Liling Zhou Copyright (c) 2026 Social Development Studies https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14140 Wed, 11 Mar 2026 09:17:41 +0800 Reframing Structural–Cognitive Mismatch in Chinese–English Language Learning https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14144
This review examines research on Chinese–English structural–cognitive mismatch in second and foreign language learning. Although previous studies have documented key structural contrasts—such as parataxis versus hypotaxis, topic- versus subject-prominence, and differences in tense–aspect systems—these features are often analyzed independently of the sociocognitive orientations underlying their use. Synthesizing studies from applied linguistics, second language acquisition, and intercultural communication, the review identifies three dominant research strands: structurally focused accounts with limited cognitive explanation; cognitively oriented studies weakly anchored in linguistic structure; and emerging sociocognitive approaches that seek integration but remain methodologically fragmented. The review further reveals a persistent imbalance in research attention, with a strong focus on Chinese learners of English and far fewer studies on English learners of Chinese. This unidirectional orientation constrains theoretical interpretation and obscures symmetrical patterns of structural–cognitive adaptation. To address these limitations, the review argues for a bidirectional sociocognitive framework in which linguistic structure is understood as the external manifestation of culturally shaped cognition. It concludes by outlining key principles for future research aimed at developing a more integrated and explanatory account of Chinese–English language learning.
Lingna Li, Abdul Talib Mohamed Hashim Copyright (c) 2026 Social Development Studies https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14144 Wed, 11 Mar 2026 09:25:45 +0800 Research on Improving the Rural Land Management System and Empowering the Rational Use of Land Resources https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14146
Land resources constitute a vital foundation for socioeconomic development, and their rational development and efficient utilization are crucial for achieving sustainable development. A sound rural land management system can effectively address current issues of resource constraints and wastage, promote rational land use, and provide institutional support for implementing the rural revitalization strategy. Based on this, the article examines the importance of improving rural land management systems for rational land resource utilization, systematically analyzes existing operational challenges, and proposes practical approaches to enhance these systems. The study aims to offer theoretical references and practical guidance for advancing market-oriented allocation of rural land resources, safeguarding farmers’ land rights, and facilitating comprehensive rural revitalization.
Xiong Wang Copyright (c) 2026 Social Development Studies https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14146 Wed, 11 Mar 2026 09:28:35 +0800 The Optimization Strategy of Human Resource Value in the Background of Digital Intelligence https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14149
Digital technologies are transforming the way business functions operate, and this also applies to the human resource management (HRM) function. In the context of digital intelligence, enterprises can optimize the allocation of human resources and enhance employee value and organizational performance through informationization, intelligence, and data. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of human resource management in the context of digital intelligence, this paper proposes strategies to enhance the value of human resources, including promoting the transformation and upgrading of management models, enhancing human resource governance capabilities, and consolidating the foundation for high-quality development, as well as developing application collaboration, combining design with specialization, integrating performance orientation, building a closed loop of management with planning as the traction, and integrating specific methods such as “gathering and rational use” to provide a reference for enterprises to maximize the value of human resources in the era of digital economy.
Yunlong Xie Copyright (c) 2026 Social Development Studies https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14149 Wed, 11 Mar 2026 09:32:06 +0800 The Visibility of Selected Governance: The Daily Governance of the Smilan Moken Ethnic Group Under Protected Areas, Tourism, and Digital Intervention https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14150
Marine protected areas are often promoted as institutional solutions that align biodiversity conservation with tourism development and the cultural recognition of Indigenous peoples. Yet, when governance becomes highly visible—through infrastructure, signage, schooling facilities, and identity administration—justice does not necessarily become more achievable in everyday life. This article examines how environmental justice can remain fragile under a dense assemblage of protected-area regulation, tourism economy, and digital mediation in the Moken community located within Mu Ko Surin National Park. Using a qualitative design based on field observation, limited semi-structured interviews, and analysis of governance artifacts, the study develops two analytic concepts: selective governance and layered accessibility. Findings show that institutional presence frequently prioritizes what is measurable, displayable, and administratively legible, while shifting key livelihood costs onto households through travel time, opportunity loss, procedural opacity, and unequal capacities to activate rights. In this context, injustice appears less as outright exclusion and more as the erosion of lived time, the contraction of choice, and the weakening of intergenerational futures. The article concludes by proposing evaluative criteria for protected-area governance that move beyond inclusion metrics toward usability, temporal continuity, and capability-based accessibility.
Shih-Wei Tang Copyright (c) 2026 Social Development Studies https://ojs.bbwpublisher.com/index.php/SDS/article/view/14150 Wed, 11 Mar 2026 09:34:22 +0800
